We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a great passion for new technology!

As our Mechanical Engineer you will play an important part in the integration phase and support the integration teams in working towards our customers. You are expected to take an active role throughout the whole project, from prestudy and design to verification and start of production.

The gig: To help us minimize the technology for enabling integration in even more consumer products.

The role and responsibilities
The projects you will work in involves additional disciplines besides mechanics, ranging all the way from optronics and electronics to firmware and algorithms. This will require close cooperation with other disciplines internally as well as external partners and subcontractors.

Our projects include:
Prestudy, concept evaluation and simulation.
Design, developing prototypes and design verification.
Quality assurance, environmental testing and certification.
Providing production documentation and support at start of production.

Add curiosity about new technology, trends and standards within the area of competence as well as improvements of work methods, lab and tools.

We are looking for someone who
Has a M.Sc. degree or equivalent
Has at least 1-2 years’ experience in product development and mechanics design, preferably within several different areas.

We view it as a great merit if you have experience of SolidWorks Simulations for e.g. FEM, thermal or durability and if you have worked with designing consumer products and/or small systems.

As a person, you need to feel comfortable in a role with a lot of individual responsibility and with big opportunities to influence. To succeed with this, you are self-propelling, flexible, pragmatic, extrovert, industrious and full of initiatives.
